Surgical lights, monitors, and control panels are supplied with power and signals—as well as HD and 4K camera signals—via support and spring arms. Up to nine slip ring assemblies can be used in a single support assembly.

In the future, images on operating room screens will be displayed in ever-higher resolutions. This will require 4K transmission via slip rings for medical technology—and, in the foreseeable future, 8K transmission. As in many other fields, the volume of data that needs to be transmitted is also increasing in the medical sector. In the future, this could reach up to 1 Gbit per second. We are ready.
