Operating theater lamps, monitors and control panels are supplied with power and signals, as well as HD and 4K camera signals, on support and spring arms. Up to nine slip rings can be used in one support combination. 

Our products are installed in laboratory equipment where high rotational speeds of up to 10,000 rpm are required. A classic example is a centrifuge (e.g. Covid-19 test device). We are aware of the special challenges in the medical sector and guarantee uncompromising compliance with all guidelines and safety conditions.

To ensure 100% performance over the entire life cycle, our slip rings must pass a number of tests and be certified in accordance with medical standards before they are released. This also includes international standards such as UL and CSA. Here, Rekofa is in direct contact with Life & Health Sciences UL International Germany GmbH.

In future, images will be projected on the operating theater screens in ever higher resolution quality. This will then require a 4K transmission - in the foreseeable future an 8K transmission. We are in close contact with our customers and suppliers in order to guarantee this transmission performance in the future.

As in many other areas, the amount of data that needs to be transmitted is also increasing in the medical sector. In future, this could be up to 1 Gbit per second. We are ready.
