Rotary unions or media distributors are proven machine elements that are used for the distribution of liquid and gaseous media, such as oil, water, grease, emulsion, air/compressed air, gas or vacuum, from stationary to endlessly rotating consumers. In addition to standard solutions, Moog Rekofa GmbH has been developing rotating unions that meet customer-specific requirements since the early 1980s.
Special sealing elements are used to seal the rotating union. The type of medium must be taken into account when selecting the sealing elements. A "seal-less" principle can also be used for high speeds that cause extreme wear on the seals.
All rotary unions can be combined with electrical components. Liquid media must be filtered according to quality.
