Whenever something turns

Special parts from Moog Rekofa are used in many other applications. They are rarely visible and yet are indispensable for the function and durability of the end product.

In circular irrigation systems, also known as center pivots, our slip rings are extremely resistant to temperature differences, precipitation and moisture. In addition to electricity, control signals are also transmitted which, among other things, determine the optimum angular position during irrigation. Not least because of the climatic changes, it is important to impress with quality and still remain attractively priced.

In modern revolving doors, our slip rings ensure reliable power transmission for lighting and safety technology. Our "SP" system "pancake" rotary distributors, which can be installed extremely flat, can be installed in an encapsulated version both underfloor and above the swing door. As revolving doors are usually installed in the entrance area of buildings and are therefore exposed to the weather, the transmitters are subject to protection class IP54 as a minimum.

Of course, we also play a role in the rotary transmission of hydraulic or pneumatic lines for rotating rides, aerial work platforms, cranes and revolving platforms. The list goes on and on.

In addition to the various contacting options, Moog also offers various contactless transmission options. These include fiber optics and POF optical fibers for speeds of up to 10 Gbit/s as well as capacitive transmitters that enable contactless transmission with any hollow shaft. Here too, the transmission of all 100 Mbit/s signals is possible up to data rates of 2.5 Gbit/s. A further advantage of contactless technology is that it is maintenance-free and can be used in applications with high speeds >1000 rpm.
