Cable reels
A long-standing customer's request for a high-quality cable reel with an integrated slip ring prompted Moog Rekofa to enter the cable reel market. Our team accepted the challenge and developed an innovative and reliable product family which is on top, because off high standardization, very cost effective.
Most notable benefit of Moog Rekofa’s design is the flexibility of the cable reel. Customers can customize to their specific requirements while still maintaining the quality and performance expected, making Moog Rekofa’s product family available for a wide range of customers and applications.
Our spring-driven cable reels are designed for use in harsh conditions in the construction machinery and crane industry and mount ship winches or motorized cable reels in port cranes, for example. Motor-driven cable reels with non-contact fiber optic rotary unions have been developed for special applications such as remote-controlled robots (EOD). Customers from the fire department and automotive sectors also already rely on the ergonomic and compact cable reels with integrated slip rings from Rekofa.
In close cooperation with our affiliated company Moog GAT, we are able to carry out service life tests for the cable drum that are precisely tailored to customer requirements.
